About Me

I have been a massage therapist for over 5 years. I became interested in doing massage to help my family and friends. Over the last 5 years, I have learned many different modalities and techniques, but I love massages that focus on solving specific concerns. My favorite thing is when a client walks away feeling like a whole new person.

Personal Statement

My personal statement is healing without judgement because I respect the trust people place in me when they come in for treatment. As such, I strive to create a safe, comfortable environment where healing can occur.

Modalities and Techniques

Swedish Massage

What you think of when someone says a massage. Swedish massage uses soft, flowing movements to provide relief.

Benefits include relaxation and release of overall tension.

Deep Tissue

Deep tissue doesn't always mean deep pressure. It actually indicates the layers of tissue being worked on. It utilizes slow strokes that work through to deeper layers of muscle.

Benefits include longer pain relief, and improved mobility

Trigger Point Therapy

Trigger points are knots that send pain to other areas of the body. Trigger point therapy focuses on working those out.

Benefits include pain relief and often improved mobility.

Sports Massage

Maintaining flexibility is crucial to athletic success. Sports massage uses passive stretching which allows you to relax while getting all the benefits a great stretch.

Benefits include improved mobility and tension relief.

Lymphatic Drainage

The lymphatic system helps remove toxins from the body. Lymphatic drainage is a light touch modality that promotes movement of the lymph and toxin removal.

Benefits include decreased swelling and often increased energy.

Prenatal & Postpartum

Pregnancy takes a toll on the body. Massage is the perfect way to ease some of the strains of this experience. Plus, special bolsters allow you to lay on your stomach without worry.

Benefits include deep relaxation, soothing comfort.

Cupping

Silicon, glass, or plastic cups use suction to create space between the layers of muscle, skin, and fascia. I utilize both stationary and gliding cupping to address needs and create better results.

Benefits include tension relief, improved lymphatic drainage, and increased mobility.

TMJ Relief

When the muscles around the temporomandibular joint (jaw) become tight, it can cause pain, tension, and immobility in the jaw. By relaxing these muscles, the joint is released. This can be incorporated in most treatments.

Benefits include pain relief, improved mobility and often improved mood.

Hot Stones & Cryotherapy

Temperature makes a huge impact on muscles. Hot stones provide a relaxing heat to soothe aches. Cryotherapy uses ice to decrease pain and inflammation.

Benefits include deep relaxation without intense pressure, increased blood flow, and relaxation.
